Accessibility statement
This statement is about parishdigital.co.uk itself, the site you are on now. It is not the accessibility statement for a council website we have built. Each council site has its own.
Parish Digital is a trading name of Room Filler Ltd. We are a private company. The Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 do not require us to publish this statement. We publish it because our clients are councils, and because we want this site to be usable.
How accessible this website is
We build following WCAG 2.2 AA standards. We are not saying this website meets WCAG 2.2 AA in full, and we are not saying it meets that standard in part. We have not finished the testing that would be needed to say either.
We want as many people as possible to be able to:
- change colours, contrast levels and fonts
- zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
- navigate the website using a keyboard
- navigate the website using speech recognition software
- listen to the website using a screen reader
We have also tried to keep the wording plain.
What we have tested
On 13/10/2026 we ran Lighthouse accessibility checks on the homepage and the pricing page, in a mobile view. Those checks did not report accessibility failures. We have not completed a manual keyboard and screen-reader pass of every page. Automated tools cannot on their own show that a site meets WCAG 2.2 AA.
Known limitations
- We have not yet done a full manual screen-reader test of every page, so there may be problems we have not listed.
- This site does not currently publish PDFs. If we add any, we will check them and update this statement. Some older documents can be harder to use than the web pages.
Reporting a problem or asking for another format
If something on this site is difficult to use, or you need the information in a different format, email info@parishdigital.co.uk. Tell us the page address and what you were trying to do. We aim to reply within one working day.
Enforcement
We are not a public sector body, so the enforcement route below is the one that applies to public sector websites. We include it because councils ask about it, and because anyone who is unhappy with our reply can still contact the relevant commission.
The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) enforces the accessibility regulations in England, Scotland and Wales. The Equality Commission for Northern Ireland (ECNI) does so in Northern Ireland. If you are not happy with how we respond, you can contact the Equality and Human Rights Commission or the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland.
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 23 October 2026. It says we build following WCAG 2.2 AA standards. We will review it by 13/10/2027, or sooner if we change the site in a way that affects accessibility. To contact us about this statement, email info@parishdigital.co.uk.
