Cookies
This page describes cookies and similar technologies on parishdigital.co.ukonly. It follows the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.
What this site sets
This website sets one first-party cookie, and only after you choose. It remembers that choice. It is strictly necessary, so we can honour it. It is not an analytics cookie, and we do not use it to follow you around the web.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| pd_cookie_consent | Remembers whether you chose Accept or Reject non-essential. Values are accepted or rejected. | 12 months | Strictly necessary |
The cookie is first-party, path /, SameSite=Lax, and Secure when the page is on https. It is set by the banner, or by Cookie settings in the footer. We do not use local storage, and the enquiry form does not set a cookie. There is no pre-ticked box. Reject non-essential is the same kind of button as Accept.
Next.js and Railway
The site is built with Next.js and hosted by Railway. We checked this project’s code. It does not call Next’s cookie store. There is no login, no draft preview, and no middleware that writes a cookie. Nothing in this project configures Railway to add a cookie. The consent choice above is the only cookie the site sets.
What we do not set
There are no analytics, advertising, or social-media cookies, and no non-essential scripts. Nothing of that kind loads before you choose Accept. If we add one, we will list it in the table first. Cookie settings in the footer opens the banner again so you can change the choice before the 12 months run out.
How to control cookies in your browser
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. If you delete pd_cookie_consent, the banner will show again. The rest of the site still works. The steps differ by browser:
